The Church of England school associated with the Parish of St Giles’ and St George’s, Ashtead.

Located near St Giles’ church, Christian values are central to the ethos of the school.

As the parish church we are delighted to partner closely with the school community.

Here are some of the ways the church supports the school community:

• The Rector and members of the church serve as foundation governors.

• A team from the church takes an ‘Open the Book’ assembly each week, where Bible stories are acted out in a creative and interactive way, followed by a time of reflection and singing.

• The parish Children and Families’ Leader supports the reflective prayer space, focusing each month on one of the school’s values.

• The parish Children and Families’ Leader runs ‘Pause’ days, where children reflect on a spiritual theme or story.

• The children come to St Giles’ Church for special services at Harvest, Christmas, Easter and at the end of the school year.
